We researched and found out that youth workers want to involve young people more but don’t know how and most of them lack experience in using digital tools in their work. Our project objectives are: 1. Our participants will expand their knowledge about photography and the usage of cameras. 2. They will be able to successfully implement a minimum of 3 photography-based non-formal education methods (photo story, photo voice, picture treasure hunt). 3. The youth workers will develop their self-confidence and motivation to use innovative photography-based methods to make young people more active in their community. This project is mainly addressed to: Youth workers that are currently working with young people; Youth workers that are new in the youth field but are actively volunteering in an organization; Trainers who work with young people; Teachers involved in extracurricular activities; Volunteers in non-profit organizations. Age limit: over 18, no upper age limit The project will be facilitated by trainers with more than 5 years experience in Erasmus+. Participants in this training course will learn how to: – enrich their portfolio with photography-based methods learned during the project – feel prepared to support the young people to express their opinion and find their “voice” – be able to implement methods to promote active citizenship – feel more motivated and inspired to involve young people in designing activities and actions – be able to better deal with unmotivated and disengaged youngsters – boost their own creativity or help young people unlock their creativity.
